Who is Miss Kira P?

Kira Peterson, also known as Miss Kira P, is a golf and travel influencer who started her journey into the golfing world more than five years ago. Initially focusing on the media and marketing side of the golf industry, she managed podcasts, online magazines, and social media content for her company.

Journey and Experiences

Kira has attended many golfing events around the USA, including the PGA Show in Orlando, PGA Tour Stops, fundraising for the Master Chef of the PGA Tour, and LIV Golf’s 2022 season. Despite not receiving a ‘proper’ golf lesson until Women’s Golf Day 2022 at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, she has been hooked ever since. She actively participates in women’s golf clinics and practices on the driving range, continually improving her golf swing.

The Turning Point

Her nerves were high initially, but her good friend Mike Calbot, ‘The Golf Doctor’, shared a golden piece of advice: “Just remember to have fun and don’t overthink your golf swing”. This advice has fueled her journey, and she now wants her followers to see how much fun she has on the course through her Instagram content, reels, and videos.

Highlights and Achievements

One event close to her heart is The Butcher Block Party at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farms, led by Master Chef David Trevelino, which raises funds to help and feed the US Navy Nuclear Submariners during the holiday season.

Miss Kira has been involved in the LPGA’s #inviteher campaign, promoting golf among girls and women. Her media company started a golf series called ‘Miss Kira Steps into Golf: 18+1 Series’ to help women learn golf. Due to her promotion of #inviteher, she received an open invitation to any LPGA Tour event.

Current and Future Goals

As the 2023 golf season kicks off, Miss Kira P continues her training with a new set of golf clubs. Her endeavors and love for the game have made her a passionate golf lover and an avid communicator. Through her social media platforms, she connects with all lovers of golf, particularly women and girls. Her aim is to build awareness of golfing, its spirit of fun, and the competition it encompasses.
